Art on Paper Restorer - Andrew Wheeler - Biography
After studying Graphic Design at the West of England College of Art, joined Frost & Reed Ltd. (Fine Art Dealers) as a trainee picture restorer working mainly on 18th and 19th Century prints and watercolours.
Trained here by father, T. K. Wheeler. (Family have been picture restorers since around 1895).
A member of the South Western Federation of Museums and Art Galleries.
Established own conservation studio in Bristol UK in 1970, specialising in prints, drawings and watercolours, mostly for fine art dealers in the UK and the USA and also for private and public collections.
